For the past couple of weeks, some of the most inspirational people from across the world will be arriving to compete for gold. As with the Olympics, no doubt we were all be glued to the sports reports and TV screens, egging on our team and (in true British spirit) supporting everyone else as well.
For those lucky enough to have had tickets, we hope you’ll let us know what the atmosphere’s like actually at the venues (why not tweet us @citycruiseslive). But for those who won’t get to experience the events live, there’s still a lot to get out and see. So make sure you’ve got these events in your diary…
Snaps: Iconic London Sights sees some of London’s world-renowned attractions lit up with incredible displays. As it was every night during the Olympics, the Houses of Parliament will feature an iconic lightshow every night between 9:30pm and 12am during the Paralympics.
Obviously, you won’t want to miss the sporting events, and the Londonist lists where to find all the sports of the Paralympic programme.
Our Greatest Team: London 2012 Victory Parade takes place one day after the Paralympics closing ceremony and will see athletes from Team GB and Paralympics GB joining in a victory parade through London. More details to come.
If you are attending the events in Greenwich, avoid the expected crowds by taking a river cruise direct from Central London. Find out more about the 2012 Games River Tour here.
